Sock kitty

A little while ago I was out buying snacks at my local convenience store, when I stumbled upon a little sewing kit.

Now there isn't much to write about this. I was walking past the toy section and saw a cute little box that had a plush kitty on it, so I decided I'd check it out. The box came with some basic sewing stuff like a needle and some thread, and also 2 socks and an instruction manual.

I like cute animals and handicrafts so I sat down and did the whole thing in a couple hours. Unfortunately the socks weren't the same size as in the manual, and the plushie came out looking very derpy, but for just 2 or so dollars that I paid for it, it was fun.

I also scanned the instruction manual for myself in case I want to make some sock cats in the future, but if you want it, you can get it here: sock_kitty_compressed.pdf. Aside from derpy grammar there isn't much to see there either.

Also as a side note, if anyone is reading this, I was wondering if my site would benefit from adding some images. If you have any thoughts on this, do let me know. I want to keep this super simplistic and to practice concise writing, so I'm not very sure. Thank you for reading!
